DESCRIPTION:Join us for this FREE Workshop in partnership with EcoLogik and Venture Unified on 6/1/2024 from 9-12 PM PST. \nSince the dawn of humanity\, people have been using art to make sense of the world around them. In this workshop\, we will dissect a market squid and explore a traditional Japanese method of printing\, a practice which dates back to the mid-1800s. First used by fisherman to document their catches\, now this technique is used by scientists and artists to learn anatomy and to create a lifelike impression of an organism. In this workshop\, we will learn about cephalopds from marine scientists while making a work of art of your own.
